Yup -- that's our son!

As we were walking around the mall the other day, I looked down at Parker -- and there he is, with both fingers shoved up his nose!!!
He sat there like that long enough for me to get my phone out and snap a picture!! Once he realized I was trying to take his picture, he immediately put his hands down and cheesed it for the camera!!
Yup -- that's our son! :)

Fridays at the playground

We try to do something special on Fridays when I'm off work. The boys love the playground, so we've been taking advantage of the beautiful weather lately!! Its fun with the boys getting bigger and more independent because they can enjoy more pieces of equipment. Of course, they still love swinging!
Dylan has recently discovered the steering wheel on the top part of the playground. Here he told me he was "flying the airplane to Nana and Papa's house" :)
Fun on the see-saw :)
I'm looking forward to the rest of the summer with more adventures to come!

Boys will be boys

Although many times I get stressed out with a house full of boys, there are so many moments that melt my heart and make me smile. Here's just a few.....

Dylan was trying to make Parker smile :)
Looking out the window watching Daddy mow the lawn. So exciting!!
The grocery cart with the pink car was the only one available. They didn't care! They LOVED it!!!
This is perhaps one of my favorite pictures of the two boys so far. Dylan was sitting in his chair and asked for Parker to come sit next to them. So cute!!! :)
The smiles and laughter seen in each of these pictures lasted about 3 seconds before the pushing and screaming started ;) .....boys will be boys!!

Neighborhood Carnival

Our neighborhood had a carnival at one of the local parks. The highlight was fire truck rides for the kids. Dylan was so excited to go on it. Daddy and Dylan had a blast! Can you see their heads popping up above the ladder?
Waving hi!
Dylan and Daddy
Dylan's favorite carnival game -- golf! :)
We love the fun things that this community has in store for the kiddos :)

Haircuts for my boys

All the boys went to the barber to get a haircut. Parker went first. He wasn't too happy to get his haircut, until Daddy handed him his phone -- when he said "Oh WOW!!!" :)
Dylan was such a big boy and sat perfectly the whole time!!!
Sitting nicely after their haircuts
All my boys with new haircuts!! :)

My Early Mothers Day Present

I'm a bit behind my blogging, as you might be able to tell from the title of this post. But on the Saturday of Mother's Day Weekend, Matt took the boys out for a bike ride in our new-to-us bike trailer.
The boys had a blast!! They laughed and cheered for Daddy to go UP the hills! :) (I think he'd rather haul their 60lbs down the hill) :)
And I got some much needed quiet time :) Looking forward to more bike rides this summer!

(BTW - the boys now have helmets which they will be using for future bike rides)

Sleeping

One of my blogging friends posted about the way her kids sleep -- and how it seemed to stay the same over the years. That reminded me to actually take a picture of my kids sleeping positions too!

Dylan tends to sleep the same way since he did when he was little -- completely bent in half, with his feet underneath his body. This looks completely UNcomfortable!!!
Although more recently, I have seen Dylan sleep on his side (like an adult would!) My boy is growing up!! Parker on the other hand, sleeps anyway and everyway!! He typically falls asleep like this:
And might end up like this by the morning:
Pretending to take a nap on the cow :)
Pretending to go "Night-Night" in Dylan's bed :)
Love my little angels sleeping. Now if I could just get them to quit stalling to go to bed!

BBQ at John & Bevs

Some of my relatives were in town over the weekend so we went to my Uncle John and Aunt Bev's house for a BBQ. The food is always great there, but they were also very well-prepared to have kiddos running around. The boys had a blast with Aunt Bev and the bubbles :)
My dad and the uncles played baseball with Dylan, and he had so much fun! (while Kevin tried to corral Parker!!)
Great-Uncle John and Gia --- so adorable!! :)
My little ham cheesing it for the camera, sitting like a big boy.
Look at those cute sunglasses! :)
 Great food!
Attempting to get the cousins together in a picture.... started with adults too.
Here's our best picture of the cousins :) Better luck next time ;)
Grandpa and Gia. Love this picture of her! Look at those toes!!
We had a great time visiting with family. Thanks Uncle John and Aunt Bev for hosting!
