3rd Sonogram

Today was the 3rd sonogram of the baby. Unfortunately Matt wasn't able to be there because of some last minute work-related travel plans, so my mom filled in. The ultrasound tech took images to get the size and weight of the baby. It's amazing how detailed the images can get. The ultrasound tech pointed out the bladder and the stomach on the screen; these looked more like craters on the moon than actual organs!

The baby was being quite stubborn during the end of the sonogram and didn't want to move out of my side for the technician to get an accurate head circumference. After a bit of poking and prodding, the baby finally moved. I wonder if this is any prediction of the baby being a good sleeper like me!!! I sure hope so! :)
Measurements from the sonogram were on target: The baby is measuring 27 weeks, 3 days -- which is where I'm at. The baby now weighs about 2.5lbs! Attached is a picture from the sonogram. It is a side profile picture of the baby with the head and face looking up
