Christmas Festivities

Christmas Eve we went to my brother Mike's house and celebrated with my mom's side of the family. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I have no pictures!! UGH!!! But it was great seeing all of the cousins and extended family. And Dylan got completely spoiled! It was very exciting seeing the joy in his eyes as he opened all of his cool gifts. :)

Christmas morning Santa had brought a bunch of presents for Dylan and Parker, and all of our stockings were filled to the brim! There were also many gifts from out of town relatives under the tree as well. We decided to open presents in stages -- because Dylan was on sensory overload!! We even did Skype with Nana Jacky and Aunt Brenda so they could see Dylan open some presents.

There were too many fun things to play with, it was hard for Dylan to choose one. :) A Yankee ABC book... A "phone"... And a new shovel! Lets hope he continues to enjoy shoveling well into his teen years :) He had fun trying to put together the barn using Daddy's screwdriver. Dylan loved the John Deere ride-on tractor. Although he hasn't quite figured out how to work the gas pedal yet, but I don't think Murphy minds -- since Dylan will probably chase Murphy with it anyhow! :) Matt is a little jealous though that Dylan got a ride-on mower before he did! :) He loves his Thomas train set too, but by this time of the night he must have been tired of me taking pictures because he told me: "Mommy, No cheese" and just kept on playing!! Haha!! We feel so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends surrounding us during Christmas and throughout the year! Merry Christmas!!
