Visit with old/new friends

About a month ago (and I'm JUST posting now! Sorry!!) we went to visit a friend from high school. We haven't seen them since OUR wedding (7 years ago!) but keep in touch through our blogs and Facebook -- so it actually feels like we see them much more frequently. They have two kids: a girl and boy, with the same age difference as Dylan and Parker, but just a few months younger. It's so funny to see how similar Dylan and Emma are, and how alike Parker and Jackson are -- each with the same personalities, body type, level of activity, and intellectual focus (Dylan/Emma on academic things and Parker/Jackson on how to outsmart mom and dad!!!) We went to their house for a barbeque and had a blast! The kids played with the sand box and pool...eventually creating a Gulf of Mexico mixing the two. But just look at these cuties ;)

Parker taught Jackson all sorts of things -- like how to drink from the water table. Yup that's our son! (look at Jackson watching intently!!!) Hahaha!

Parker had fun on their playset. Such a ham!!

After dinner, we headed inside to calm down before the ride home. Ummm... calming down didnt quite happen. Parker in the bouncer -- he's just a tad too big. :)

Then Emma and Parker had fun racing around the house and then laying down for 2 seconds, only to pop back up and repeat again!!I barely captured a picture that wasn't blurry!

We had so much fun visiting with old friends, or for Emma and Dylan "new friends" :) Dylan STILL talks about Emma's house and all the fun we had! Cant wait to see them again. :)
