Telling the Parents...

When telling our parents about our pregnancy, we wanted to be creative - instead of just coming out and telling them directly. For Matt's parents, since they live much further away, we sent them "grandparents" cards for Father's Day. The cards had pictures of golden retrievers on the front, so it could have been mistaken for our dogs! :) For my parents, we "stole" the Cozy Coup from my parents' garage that my mom had been saving for 16+ years for when she had grandkids. :) Matt Armor-All'd it up and fixed the loose wheel. Then we decorated it with ribbons & bows. Matt then got to work making a license plate for this "classic car", bumper stickers, and cargo signs!

What a very clever way to tell the terrific news to everyone! Thanks for creating this blog, so we can monitor the baby's progress. It's also good to be able to see the bumper stickers up close.

We are so happy for both of you!!

Can't wait to meet him/her around February 4th - I mean February 8th! :-)!

Love,
Aunt Patty, Uncle Paul,
Ryan, Danny, and Tim
