It's now been a week since we've transitioned Dylan into a big boy bed. We wanted to do this before baby #2 arrived and last week we finally got his mattress. For now, his mattress just sits on the floor until he gets a little better at climbing on/off of higher heights. But so far he's done great! (although by me writing this, it might jinx things) :)
Even in the mornings, he will stay in bed and just babble away until we come and get him. I know it won't be long before he figures out he can actually get out of bed on his own, but we are enjoying it for the time being. One of Dylan's favorite things to do at night and in the morning is point out all of the trucks, buses, and cars on his sheets! Typical boy!!
