Here's his updated stats:
Weight: 24lbs, 9oz (60th percentile)
Height: 32 in (80th percentile)
Head Circumference: 48 cm (80th percentile)
Parker has 11 teeth now: 4 molars, 4 top-front teeth, and 3 bottom-front teeth. He is not a good "teether" either: fevers, drooling, and restless nights of sleep. He eats pretty much all adult food, just cut up a little smaller. He eats almost anything, but definitely has moments of picky eating. Parker stabs his finger into the food to see if he likes it! Haha! He has recently learned that if he drops food over the edge of the highchair, Murphy will eat it. In fact, just tonight he was "singing" the Clean-up song as he dropped rice over the edge of the high chair!! :) :) Parker's no longer taking any bottles and has mastered the sippy cup.Parker still naps once a day from about 12-2pm. He usually goes to bed around 7:30pm and is up by about 7am. He is a VERY light sleeper though and doesn't sleep well if the light shines in his room!
Parker is constantly on the go!! He is so fast with walking, he might as well be running!! I'm seriously considering putting a pedometer on him! He plays with cars, trucks and pretty much anything else he can get his hands on. He mimics everything we do. He saw Dylan run and throw a toy and so he ran and threw one. He saw me step over a baby gate and so he tried to do that!!
Parker is a mischievous little boy who gets into everything! One of Parker's latest tricks is to climb on top of the ottoman: kneeling and bouncing. Well today, after I turned my back long enough to fill a coffee cup, he was STANDING on the ottoman bouncing!! As I raced toward him, he tried to run away from me -- I caught him about 2 inches from the ground!
He makes a squawking, cackling laugh that always puts a smile on your face. His nicknames include: Nuggin, Bearcub, P-Man. Parker seems to understand everything we say. He has recently started to "talk" in sentences -- well, babble nonsense sounds! He expects us to know what he's saying too!
Parker is a bundle of energy! It's amazing to see how much he's changed over the past 15 months, and we look forward to what the future will bring :)
