Today Dylan had his one year checkup. We are now cleared to eat any food, except nuts or peanut butter (sorry Matt!) :) Dylan had to get FOUR shots today! Ouch! Poor guy didn't like that too much, but after a minute or two, he was back to smiling again. He no longer gets the shots in his thighs -- now in his arms like a big boy!
It's hard to believe how fast Dylan is growing up. Here's some of his big points:
* He has 7 teeth -- with one more cutting through the gums soon
* He's standing for periods of time on his own -- until he realizes it -- then he plops back to the ground :)
* He cruises along furniture extremely fast
* He is super speedy with crawling, especially when he hears you coming after him!
* He can walk when he holds onto 1 or 2 fingers
* He loves to get into anything he's not supposed to... especially the dog bowl and the dog door!
* He loves Murphy! And Murphy loves him (especially when Dylan wants to give him some food)!
* He sleeps usually 12 hrs a night: 7pm to 7am, except when I have to wake him early for daycare.
* He loves bathtime, loves reading, and LOVES the outdoors!
And here's Dylan's latest stats:
Height: 32.5 inches (off the charts!!!!!!!!)
Weight: 21 lbs, 14 oz (35th percentile)
Head Circumference: 47 cm (70th percentile)

Wow - he's so big! He's taller than Owen now, Owen was 31" at his 15 month appt & 25 lbs - crazy! Glad to hear you guys are doing well =)
