Labor Day - Part 4 - Game Time!

The view of University of Tennessee's stadium from the Sunsphere: HUGE!!! (the stadium is the massive building on the left)
People in TN are pretty intense about their tailgates. Here's just a few of the boats tailgating for the game -- a block away from the stadium.
Montana had an official tailgate party at a restaurant on the water. The food was good and the turnout was shockingly big -- especially for a school so far away. Here's one of the boys and I at the tailgate.
 At Neyland Stadium.
Massive. Just massive. It holds over 100,000 people. And it was almost filled to capacity!
Right as kickoff was about to begin, and we were getting comfortable in our seats....
They ordered everyone to clear the field and the lower half of the stadium (which was us). It began pouring.. and pouring. And then lightning. After about a 1.5hr delay, they finally started again. This time, it was quickly passing the boys bed times. Parker was tired. So I strapped on the carrier...
And soon, he was passed out!
Dylan was very excited about the game. Even in the pouring rain!! He did great. About mid-way through the second quarter, Dylan started getting grumpy. But wouldn't sleep. But he would eat cheerios....
 Beautiful self-photo :)
By halftime, Dylan was pretty grumpy. The weather wasn't the greatest. And Parker had woken up again. We decided to leave the game early. Our trip to TN was also a fun way to catch up with some more old friends: our friend Clint from Colorado and Matt's friend Courtney from school. We wish we had more time to spend with them, but with two kids -- it's a bit challenging! :)

It was a fun adventure to TN --> that still would have more up it's sleeve.... To be continued...
