Trip to Lake Anna

Last weekend some family friends invited my parents and our whole family to their GORGEOUS house on Lake Anna in Virginia.

Unfortunately only my parents and the boys and I could go. Matt had drill and all my other brothers had stuff to do. So once we knew the weather would be okay, the boys and I packed up the car and headed down Friday night. About 30 min from our destination, Parker was screaming! So I sang "Hush Little Baby" for 10 min straight. And then Dylan picked up singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" for about 5 min... :) and Parker settled down and fell asleep!! :) Saturday morning we headed down to the dock, where they had set up a cute little pool for the boys.

It was Parker's nap time and he was soooo exhausted that he fell asleep in his life vest! 

Dylan sat quietly watching his little brother while the adults got the boat ready.

Dylan with a pair of Katy's sunglasses to shield the wind and a borrowed life jacket to keep him safe. :) Poor guy having to wear girl's stuff! But he loved the boat!! (despite that he wouldn't smile in the picture! It was naptime!)

 Afterwards, Dylan hung out with Grandpa on the patio and watched all the boats go by.
