New York Trip

Since one of Dad Dale's "Bucket List" items was to visit New York, we planned a trip for him and Matt to go for three days while he was in town visiting. I stayed home with the boys since we knew it would be a lot of walking and sightseeing -- too much for the little guys.

Matt and Dad Dale headed out Monday morning on the train and arrived in NY by midday. They came back Wednesday evening and saw two weeks worth of stuff packed into three days!! The following pictures are a mix between cell phone photos and a nicer camera. And they are a little bit out of order.... :) (Just a warning: this post contains A LOT of pictures!!)

Dad was armed with his disposable camera :)
And they were off! :) They saw Times Square... during the day and at night
The Empire State Building (from the ground and the top)
The view from the top (breath-taking and scary all at once!)
Some beautiful churches and other buildings.
Seats from Yankee Stadium :) Go Yankees!! :)
They took a bike taxi one night after a long day of walking. I think the driver got a workout with these two in the back ;)
They took a boat tour and saw quite a bit from the river...
They went to the Stepping Stones house.
They saw the 9/11 Memorial...
Here pottery squares were made in honor and remembrance of 9/11
Wall Street
Grand Central Station

After 3 jam-packed days, Matt and Dad both needed to rest their feet and enjoy a coffee! :)
