It was a busy Pre-Christmas

It has been a very busy few weeks. I'm not quite sure where the time has gone. I've had some moments of being very overwhelmed and a few tears shed during all the chaos. But with a wonderful husband who loves me and supports me and two beautiful boys that make me smile, I'm feeling very blessed this holiday season.

Here's some highlights from the past few weeks....
We got a Christmas tree in the beginning of December. We didn't have the time to head up to the tree farm, so we decided to support a local landscaping company and get our tree from them. Dylan was a big help vacuuming all the needles up!
Dylan and Daddy had fun "playing guitar" -- using a Matchbox track and a book -- singing and dancing to their own beat. :)
Dad Goodnough came to visit for 10 days. They all got dressed in their Griz gear to watch MT in the playoff games. Unfortunately MT wasn't able to make it to the finals, but they put up a good fight.
I had to take advantage of Dylan hamming it up for the camera!!
We went to my parents' house to see her business partner, Cindy (who's retiring) and her husband Rich. They were like second parents to me growing up. It was great to see them! (unfortunately I didnt take any pictures!)

Daddy and Parker - enjoying a nice "winter" day ;)
Dylan's having a blast on his new bike. He can pedal pretty good if he gets a push-start!
"Hi Mom!" (Dylan in the background stealing Parker's bike) haha
Dylan will probably kill me later for taking this picture wearing my heels! Hahaha
Matt and I went to a Christmas party. It was soooooo nice to have a mini-date-night. We NEED to do this more often!!! Here's our self-timer picture (since we always forget to ask people to take one of us!)
Our church did a live nativity scene -- Dylan told us he liked seeing the donkey, the goat, and the manger! :)
We visited with my Aunt Eileen and Uncle Jeff while they were in town. They got to meet  the kids and see our home for the first time. It was such a good visit!! We also went to my parents house and spent some more time with Aunt Eileen and Uncle Jeff and some of the other extended family from my Dad's side. I only was able to get  few pictures...
Here's Will (6 weeks older than Parker) blowing us kisses :)
Parker found the dog bed at my parents house (shocker)
 Hambone
And the ONLY picture I could get with the 3 boys in it!! HAHA... they were too fast for me!
Santa also did a drive-by on the fire trucks with many other fire vehicles and an ambulance the week before Christmas. Dylan was soooo excited about this. He actually sat at the front door for 45 minutes waiting patiently for Santa! All the trucks drove around our cul-de-sac and Santa even stopped and waved to Dylan! He is STILL talking about it! :) Cant wait for next year.... :)
