Parker's 17.5 month checkup

 We headed off to the doctor a few weeks ago for Parker's checkup. I'm a bit behind on my posting, but here's his stats:
Height: 32.75 inches (60th percentile)
Weight: 25lbs, 7.2 oz (50th percentile)
He's definitely thinned out, but is one solid boy!! He's running around so much more!!! He loves playgrounds, stairs, slides, bikes, swings, etc. He has no fear!!

He's a wiggle worm on the changing table. Some days it can take 20 min to get him dressed -- as you can tell by the picture -- its almost impossible to get clothes on this crazy boy! Two socks, one shoe, part of his pants, and just the shirt over the head. This is a fairly typical occurrence too!!

He's still not the best sleeper, and some days he will wake up in the middle of the night, or refuse to go to bed. Parker is such a light sleeper -- a wet diaper, too hot/cold room temperature, noise, etc can wake him from sleep! The good thing though, is that when he gets up, he's a very happy baby!!!

Here I was trying to get him to drink some milk so we could go back to bed. He found it amusing -- standing on the chair, marching, laughing, etc. (Hence the blurry photo!!!!)

Although somedays when he is just so tired, he can barely stay awake.

 You think he can fit in the Bumbo chair??? HAHA!

 The other day, he climbed on the stool and "cleaned" the sink with a washcloth. Soooo cute!!!

Parker is starting to say some words. Before his doctors appointment, I was really worried he wasn't talking much at all. So with the help from my daycare provider, we kept a tally of how many words he said... and we counted 25 over 3 days. And he's definitely talking more with each passing day.

All-in-all he's a very happy baby, but starting to get feisty and fight back when Dylan takes a toy from him!! I'm going to be in trouble in another few years!!
