Today's OB appointment

Since I've passed the 36 week mark, I now am going to the doctor's office every week. Last week I wasn't dilated at all. Today I measured almost 1cm and the baby's head was "very low". Neither of those things indicate when or how soon I'll be going into labor, but the fact that the baby is already low in my pelvis explains why I'm rushing to the bathroom so frequently! The baby is squashing my bladder!! :) Next week we will have another appointment, but this time with another sonogram to measure how big the baby is. We didn't think we were going to have another sonogram, so we are very excited to get another glimpse of the baby before he or she arrives! :)
