Kitchen Remodel

We decided to bite the bullet and do a kitchen remodel in August. We spent quite a bit of time finding the "right" contractor and then finding the "right" layout. In the end, we went with Cornerstone Remodeling and couldn't have been more pleased!!

We already had the appliances, and once we decided a basic layout, it was time to solidify all the details.... like adding a spice cabinet, big drawers for my pots and pans and bowls, vertical cabinet for cookie sheets, and multi-level shelves for pyrex baking dishes. Then we spent time cabinet shopping - color, style, and finish, countertop shopping, light fixture shopping, drawer pulls shopping, and tile backsplash shopping! We ended up buying our light fixtures and kitchen sink on Amazon! Who knew they sold that on there?! After all the main details were decided, we picked out a paint color and then got bar stools and a new kitchen table. It was a lot of details, but Cornerstone made it go very smoothly! And it was perfect timing for us, since we were on vacation for one week of it, and then did lots of grilling out while the remodel was happening!

Here's some before pics....
We went on vacation during the demolition phase, which was great for us! Here's the pictures mid-way...
...and yes that's carpet they found underneath the linoleum!! Yuck!
Trying to figure out backsplash and countertops....
Here's the final pictures....
LOVE IT ALL!!! Every detail was great! The finishing touches are amazing!!
