Parker's 11 week checkup

Today we headed to the doctor for Parker's checkup and more shots. The doctor said he's right on track for his weight gain and growth.

Here's Parker's stats:
Height: 24.25 inches --- 75th percentile
Weight: 11lbs, 11.8oz --- 35th percentile
Head Circumference: 40.5cm --- 50th percentile

Parker was pretty upset after the shots though. They must have hurt -- the serum looked as thick as molasses!!! But after some Tylenol and some extra cuddling with Mom & Dad tonight, he's doing a bit better. Parker is definitely smiling and cooing a lot more in the past few weeks. He loves to watch faces and really enjoys his bouncer chair and playmat. He swats at toys and is getting better with his aim too. We've introduced the Bumbo chair, but his head still bobbles a bit too much to be left alone. He actually likes tummy time a lot more than Dylan did. Parker's much more of a cuddler and would be perfectly content to be held all day long! :) He's sleeping about 7-8 hours a night, which is great. Once we make the switch to formula he'll sleep even longer. Parker already seems to have a special bond with Dylan. Dylan is a WONDERFUL big brother. He tries to calm Parker down when he's crying and he brings him his pacifier and toys to play with. I know these guys will become great friends (and I'm sure enemies at times) down the road. We can't wait to watch their relationship grow!! :)
